| My hanging baskets get too heavy after filling with soil and plants, and then get heavier after waterings. What can I mix with the soil so the baskets aren't so heavy ?? |
| To be honest, these containers just are heavy -- most soilless ( eg peat based) mixes are very light and the weight is primarily from the water the plants need to survive. I'm sorry I can't think of any alternative except to use smaller containers and water more often, and of course, be sure you are using one of the soilless mixes. |
