Citronella - Knowledgebase Question

Last year I planted alot of citronella plants and would like to know if they are perennials? I live in northern NJ.

I believe most of the plants sold as "citronella" are actually scented geraniums (Pelargonium) which unfortunately are not cold hardy. In future, you might consider overwintering them in containers or as smaller cuttings.
