I plant Cleome every year and get many wonderful comments from neighbors. My question is, "If I cut the head of the plant and take it indoors (to put in a vase), will the outside plant still produce more flowers?

Your plants will continue to bloom and will become bushier because of the cutting. You might want to make sure they receive plenty of water and nutrients to help maximize their blooming.
