The Q&A Archives: Use of Potash

Question: Is it ok to use potash on iris and galdiolus?

Answer: Potash rock is a source of potassium and can be added to the garden soil; whether or not you need to add any would be determined by running some basic soil tests. Your County Extension (343-3040) should be able to help you with the basic tests and with interpreting the results.
