I recently purchased 25 Tristar strawberry plants from the Burpee garden store. I want to put them in a 3 gallon strawberry jar. I know that you recommended a soiless mix. Could I use "Miracle Grow" potting soil (which has some "Miracle Grow" type fertilizer already in the medium)?

As long as the mix is a light weight, well drained, peat or bark based mix it should be fine. If it contains fertilizer be sure to adjust your fertilizing routine accordingly -- remember that strawberries are heavy feeders and that outdoor container soil tends to leach fairly quickly.
