Could you suggest any vegetable that I could grow in my apartment? There is some sun but not much.

Most vegetables require a minimum of 6-8 hours of sunlight each day, which is probably more than you can provide in your apartment, so your choice will be quite limited. Most herbs can be grown on a sunny window sill, and you might try lettuce, cress and chives indoors. Parsley, basil, mint, sage and thyme would make a nice window sill collection for you, as well.
