I'll assume you mean a soggy location: willows and red swamp maples enjoy this type of spot, as do shrubby dogwoods, red chokeberry (aronia), deciduous winterberry hollies, evergreen inkberry hollies, and summersweet clethra. Some perennials to consider might be Siberian and Japanese iris, lobelia, Joe Pye Weed and bee balm. |
