| How do I build a compost heap? Also I recently had some Georgia pines cut down and the stumps were ground down can the chips from the stumps go into a compost heap? |
| The chips can be composted but it will take a long time. I would suggest you pile them somewhere to allow them to age a year or so and then use them as a surface mulch in ornamental beds. Or you could use them as a pathway material. Regarding composting, I think the best way to answer your question is to refer you to the following web site.
