If the infestation is severe, you might wish to contact a pest control professional as mice can carry some serious diseases. This web site http://www.uky.edu/Agriculture... offers some information you might find useful for controlling mice indoors. In general, mice are not a big problem in the garden although other rodents may cause extensive damage. Many gardeners report that a household pet such as a dog or cat can serve as an effective deterrent to many small animal pests, and some report success using repellant sprays. Your County Extension (654-9854) might also be able to offer some advice, especially if mice are particularly prevalent in your local area.
