I just purchased and planted a potted rose bush; it is about one foot tall. How long will it be before I see any roses?

If your rose is a hybrid tea rose, then you should see roses by early summer. If your rose is an older variety of shrub rose for example, it may bloom only on old wood. If this is the case, you might see one or two blooms this year but many more next year.
