I have a wooded area in my back yard that I have added alot of loam so that I can plant some flowers. Can you suggest some plants that will grow in shade and will come back each year?

Obviously ferns and hosta would top the list for a wooded garden, but many flowering perennials will thrive in a woodland setting. Primrose, Pansy, Senica, Tradescantia, Cyclamen and Asiatic Lilies are all good choices. Dicentra (Bleeding Heart) produces lovely springtime flowers, as does Campanula and Begonia.
