I am trying to find a source of small wild strawberry plants for my garden. The fruit is much smaller than a normal sized strawberry, but the fruit is excellent for making jams, sauce, etc. Can you direct me to a source for these plants and also give me the correct name of the plant?

Sounds as though you have some Alpine Strawberries. These are marble-sized berries that release a burst of intense sweetness and concentrated strawberry taste. The plants are available from Teltane Farm & Nursery, RR 1, Box 3000, Monroe, ME (207) 525-7761.
