| My lettuce and spinach are just showing, how soon can I put slug repellent down? I don't want to wait until I see the trails, it will be too late. Do they have a dormant time? |
| Slugs seem to appear gradually as the weather warms; they snuggle down underneath rocks and debris for the winter and venture out just about when ... the lettuce germinates. |
