| Depending on the variety, some clematis vines can take several years to become established and bloom well. This is especially true for the varieties which only bloom on the previous year's wood. Make sure your plant has reasonable fertility and moist soil (not soggy) and be patient -- this may be the year you begin to see results! Clematis are so wonderful it's worth the wait. |
