The Q&A Archives: Boston Ivy

Question: Is the bluish berry/fruit that grows on Boston ivy edible for human consumption, and/or safe for birds?

Answer: It is poisonous to people. I believe it's harmless to birds, as is often the case with plants toxic to humans. If it is toxic to birds, they will not eat it.
