| Kniphofia is divided in the spring. Some gardeners will pot up the divisions at first so that they can develop some size before they are planted in the garden. This plant resents being moved or divided, so unless it has declined or bloom is greatly reduced or you have some other reason to think it needs to be done, in my experience it is best to leave it alone. |
