Cleome, or Spider Flower, grows in full sunshine in average, slightly dry soils, in all regions. It's a shrubby, branching plant topped in late summer and fall with many fluffly clusters of flowers with long, protruding stamens. If you water regularly, Cleome can self-sow and become vigorous and invasive.
