Should I trim my Yucca's down to the ground? The plants are old and don't look very good after all the snow we had in the winter. Should I wait to trim them in the fall?

You can renovate your Yucca plants by trimming them down to the ground in the spring and new foliage will develop in a matter of weeks. If you cut them down in the fall, the crowns will be exposed to winter weather which might cause damage to the crowns and the roots of the plants.
