| I live in Philadelphia, PA and I am wondering if I will be able to grow a mango tree in my back yard. Can I start the tree from a mango seed and if so how do I go about starting one? Any information you can provide is greatly appreciated. |
| Mangifera indica, the Mango, is a tropical plant and won't grow outdoors in your gardening region. But, you can grow one indoors as a houseplant. They cannot be started from seed. However, the plants are available from Oregon Exotics Nursery, 1065 Messinger Rd., Grants Pass, OR 97527. |
