How soon can we plant our gladiola corms? My husband would like to get them started early but I think we should wait until the end of May. |
In your gardening region, the glad corms shouldn't go into the ground until May or June. If you plant them too early they can be damaged by cold, wet soils. When you wait for the proper conditions, the corms will sprout right away and produce flowers about 60 days after planting. |
