Patio trees are generally slow growing, attractive, and without a lot of litter. Some great trees for your gardening region include Vine or Japanese Maples, Cercis (Redbud), Cornus florida or kousa (Flowering Dogwoods), Chinese Pistache, Japanese Flowering Plum, Stewartia, Acacia or Laburnum (Goldenchain). Except for the maples, each of these trees provides seasonal bloom.
