Question: On the Paul Parent gardening show, (Feb 16, 1997) I heard about a blue flower called scevola . Do you know where I could find such a flower, and anything about its growing habits? Paula Boyle Raynham, MA

Answer: Scaevola is a great plant in hanging baskets and containers. It's an annual with beautiful small blue flowers that does well in full sun. Check around local garden centers for this plant as it's not readily available from seed.
