I recently bought a Purple Robe Locust tree and would like to know when and how long they usually bloom? And is there another name for this tree?

Robina pseudoacacia 'Purple Robe' is the formal name of your locust tree, and you have chosen one of the prettiest forms with dark rose-pink flowers on a compact, rounded tree that will probably grow to a maximum of 30' tall. You can expect flowers in May or early June, and they generally last 7-10 days.
