The Q&A Archives: Frost Damage on Tomatoes

Question: Is there anything that can be done to tomatoe plants after they have been subjected to frost to bring them back to normal persay.

Answer: There's no way to referse frost damage, unfortunately. However if just a few leaves were hit, but the new growth looks OK, then remove the blackened, damaged leaves and let the new growth come in. If the plant doesn't grow, then the growing point was damaged and you'll have to replace it.
