I have just made a garden from scratch but there seem to be many ant holes around the garden. There are even more ants. Is there any way I can control the ants?

Ants are not necessarily a bad thing to have in the garden, and a certain amount of activity is normal. In fact, they help with many of the natural processes which are ongoing in the soil. You may find that they diminish on their own once they readjust to the new garden soil. If not and they still bother you, you might want to contact your County Extension (325-2788) for the most up to date control measures recommended for your local area.
