The Q&A Archives: Planting Fall Broccoli

Question: I want to start broccoli seeds for a fall crop. When should I start them and what time should they go in the garden?

Answer: The rule of thumb for broccoli is to start the seeds indoors 16 weeks before the first expected fall frost and transplant them out about 9 weeks before frost. You should be able to harvest for about a month.
