Plumaria are handsome plants with leathery pointed leaves clustered near the tips of their tick branches. The flowers are waxy and very fragrant. Give your plant full sun to part afternoon shade, and average, well drained soil. Flowering will begin in June and continue through November, so water regularly (one inch per week) during the growing season, and feed monthly (May through September) with a balanced fertilizer such as a 5-10-10.
