Plant them in pots as large as you can, half whiskey barrels work great. Use a rich planting mix or make you own using 1/2 peat and 1/2 sand. Water them in well after planting and try to keep them evenly moist, but not soggy. Blueberries are sensitive about the quality of their water. High pH, bicarbonates, sodium and the like are not appreciated. If possible, use rainwater for your blueberry plants.

Locate the planters in a sunny area for best results. Fertilize the growing plants with Miracid on a regular basis to keep them well fed and to keep the pH low.

Enjoy those blueberries!
