| You can divide your Asters in the early spring, or in the fall when the weather cools. Just dig the entire plant up and divide it with a spade or shovel. I just lay the plant on top of the soil and cut all the way through several times, so that each new division has 2-3 stems and a healthy group of roots. Replant the divisions, water well to exclude air pockets, and watch them grow! |
