The Q&A Archives: Cherry Tree Pollination

Question: Can a bush type cherry that blooms at the same time as a Bing cherry pollinate the Bing?

Answer: Sweet cherries, such as Bing, require another sweet cherry for pollination. I wouldn't rely on the bush cherry as a suitable pollinator, even if it is sweet. You'll have a better crop if you plant Stella or Rainier as a companion to your Bing.
