My dogs occasionally urinate on my lawn, leaving unsightly dark green rings amidst a more regular green lawn color. Is there anything I can do (besides preventing my dogs from doing this!) that can minimize the evidence of their misbehavior?

You can dilute the urine with water from the hose to minimize its effects on the lawn, but that means watching your dogs to see where they "go". This might be difficult if your dogs have free reign, such as a fenced yard. If the dogs are only allowed out on leashes, you'll have a better chance of identifying and treating the spots in question.
