Question: I went and transplanted 22 wild blackberry bushes I dug. I know I won't get any berries this season. When should I expect to have berries and do they have two growing seasons? G. Arrant Denton, TX
Answer: Your blackeberries may give a few berries this year, but I'd cut those branches out and try to get the young branches to grow well this first year. Next year you should get a good crop.
