| This year I raised tomato plants from marglobe tomato seeds. I do not know whether this type of tomato should be pruned in order to achieve the best production. What do you suggest? |
| If you do prune your plants, by removing suckers that sprout between the leaf and the stem, you'll get a tidier-looking plant that is easier to care for and pick from. You may also have less trouble with disease, since there will be better air circulation. You probably won't, however, get a higher yield than on an unpruned plant. If you have two or more plants, why not try pruning one and not the other, and see what happens. Good luck with your marglobes! |
