Does the perennial Strawberry Foxglove offer any nectar of quality or volume to sustain the hummingbirds that visit my backyard each summer?

Hummingbirds visit the strawberry foxglove in my garden, just as they visit many of the other flowers. They seem to take advantage of whatever is in bloom at any given time and follow a regular route. Since this plant is only in bloom for a relatively short period of time, you will need to provide other nectar sources that bloom before and after this one as well.
