I am growing several types of leafy Asian vegetables (spinach-type) and would like to know the best (hopefully) organic fertilizer I should use for good leaf growth. I have other vegetables in the same bed, so I don't want it to be too much nitrogen, either. Any ideas?

Leafy vegetables as a rule are not terribly demanding in terms of fertilizer, so whatever you are using for the rest of the bed may be sufficient for these, too. If you feel a need to side dress just these plants with extra nitrogen, you might try dried blood.
