I transplanted tomatoes to the garden about two weeks ago. The center of the leaves have started turning yellow and is spreading outwards. What is causing this?

Your tomato plants may very well be reacting to the stress of being transplanted into the garden. If the foliage has been protected from direct sunlight until now it's very likely tender and becoming sunburned. Young tomato plants generally lose their lowest leaves, and it's nothing to be concerned about. As it adapts to growing in the garden it will develop new, healthy leaves.
