My snowdrift marigolds have been an "almost" crop failure. Out of two packets of seeds I have three plants. Can I harvest these seeds at the end of the season and try them again next year? Or, as they are hybrids would I be better off using new seeds from Burpee? I must say however, the three plants I do have look very healthy. Too early yet for blooms. |
Hybrid seeds don't develop true to the parent plant, so it's better to start with new seeds. Please send another question to the database detailing how you started your seeds. Perhaps we can help you figure out why so few germinated. Thanks for writing. |
