Is it good to trim back creeping phlox after blooming?

Creeping perennial phlox should be deadheaded regularly during bloom and cut back hard after flowering to keep plants looking neat. Not only does cutting back make it look more attractive, it will increase air circulation, helping it to remain healthy.
