I bought several lavender plants from Burpee last year with instructions to plant them in the fall which I did; when can I expect them to start growing as to date there is nothing not even a stem. |
Lavender requires a spot with neutral to sweet soil, excellent drainage and good air circulation in full to partial sun. While some plants will experience a certain amount of winter die back, unfortunately it sounds like your plants may be dead. They should have shown new growth by now. To make sure, start at the top of the plant and work your way downward, trimming bit by bit. Look carefully at the stems and watch for green inside. If the entire stem is brown, keep trimming. I'm sorry about your plants. |
