I want to know if dahlia leaves can be eaten just like salad, or cooked and eaten like spinach.

Dahlia leaves are not edible, either raw or cooked. For a complete listing of garden flowers and leaves that are edible, consult Rodale's Illustrated Encyclopedia of Herbs, Rodale Press, ISBN# 0-87857-699-1. Always check reliable sources before consuming any leaves, roots or seeds that are not commonly found in the produce section of your local grocery store.
