In my garden I have a shade tree that shadows the one end. Nothing growes too good there. My question: Is there any vegetables that grow in the shade? It gets morning sun, that's it.

Your shade tree may be not only blocking the sunlight but also sending its roots into your garden soil, robbing it of water and nutrients. However, some slightly shade tolerant vegetables to consider would be peas, greens such as lettuce and spinach, and some of the herbs such as chives and parsley.
