I want to know the best way to root English Ivy from cuttings. |
All types of Hedera (Ivy)root readily in water or in moist soil. In fact, they are difficult to discourage. English Ivy (Hedera helix) will root if cuttings contain one or two nodes (leaf scars). Place the cuttings in water or soil so that the nodes are covered but the topmost stem and leaves are not. Place them in a bright spot, out of direct sunlight. Rooting will take place in only a few weeks. |
