| Harvest time depends upon whether you have pickling or slicing cucumbers. Pickling cucumbers are best when 4"-5" long and slicing cucumbers taste best when harvested at 7"-8" in length. Keep your cukes picked and the plants will produce many more. If you allow the fruit to become overmature or overly long, you'll be disappointed in the flavor and texture, and the plant will stop developing new flowers and fruits. |
