The Q&A Archives: Information On Vining Okra

Question: Do you have any information on growing and cooking Vine or climbing okra?

Answer: Vining okra (also known as Chinese okra) is actually a ridged type of the luffa gourds we grow to make household scrubbers. It gets the name "okra" from its ridged fruit which is picked when still small and tender and cooked like squash or okra.

Grow it like you would any squash or gourd.
