I just planted new strawberries this spring. I should have planted them in a different spot. When is it safe to move them?

Wait til early next spring to transplant them, unless they are in a spot so shaded or damp that they will die if left there. Prepare the new bed ahead of time, and water the plants well (if the soil is dry) the day before transplanting. If you must move them this summer, protect the transplants with a shade cloth until they are strong enough to withstand full sun and wind. Best of luck!
