Rhubarb should be planted in late winter or early spring in your gardening region. Allow the plants to grow for two years before harvesting the stalks (to direct energy into the crowns and roots which will produce healthy, vigorous plants). You can order in the fall or early winter and your plants should arrive in plenty of time for planting in late winter.
