I have silver mound along my driveway that looks beautiful until it starts getting leggy and seedy looking on top, and too tall. Should I be trimming the plant to keep it that soft feathery feel?

Isn't that a lovely plant when it looks its best! An occasional light trimming will help keep it from looking ratty and splaying open quite so much.
