Areas in full sunshine next to a building will also provide lots of reflected heat plus poor air circulation. Jasmine would not be happy there, but Echium, dwarf Cytisus (Broom), Rosemary and Sage will thrive under those conditions. Aptenia cordifolia, Creeping Bougainvillea and Acacia redolens are all low-growing groundcovers that are suitable for the planter, as well.
