| Cucumbers taste best when they are mid-sized. For pickling cukes, harvest when 4"-5" long. Harvest slicing cukes when they reach 6"-8". If allowed to grow larger they will develop tough seeds. If you keep your cucumbers harvested, the plants will produce more fruits. |
