I started my first pepper garden this year, growing cayenne, cascabella, and jalapeno. Next year I'm planning on addding Black Prince and Fiesta to the garden. Can you tell me how hot these go on the Scoville Scale? |
I can't find your peppers on the Scoville Scale, but can tell you: Fiesta is an ornamental chile with a rainbow of green, red and yellow peppers. Suitable for container growing, it's related to Tabasco and Cayenne chiles. Cylindrical peppers with slight taper and a rounded end. Grows up to 2 inches long. From Northern Mexico and Louisiana. Ready in 90 days. Black Prince Pods are black and mature into a red colour with a size of 0.75 inches long. Mature peppers are very pungent.
